Missing style sheet error when installing the theme

A common issue that can occur with users new to installing WordPress themes is a "Broken theme and/or stylesheets missing” error message being displayed when trying to upload or activate the theme. This error message does not mean that the theme you have purchased is broken, it simply means it has been uploaded incorrectly. Luckily, there is a very easy fix.

Before you submit a support ticket, please:

  1. Make sure you have updated everything (WordPress, theme, all plugins, etc.)
  2. Check Berry Documentation and How-to Articles.
  3. Disable all plugins except “Berry Extension” and then check if it fix the issue.
  4. Remember to clear all cache after updating anything.
  5. If you still cannot find a solution, please open a support ticket at Loft.Ocean Help Center.

When submitting a support request, please include following information as many details as possible:

  • Your website URL
  • Which version of the theme you are using
  • Detailed description of the issue or the question
  • Screenshots of the problem
  • Any notices or error messages
  • Any other information that you find useful

How to receive the update notification

There are 2 methods to get the update notification:

Method 1 – Visit ThemeForest Downloads page ( https://themeforest.net/downloads ) > make sure you have logged in with the account you used when purchasing the theme > find the theme on the “Downloads” page > Tick the “Get notified by email if this item is updated” option.

Method 2 – Install and activate the “Envato Market” plugin on your website > Add your “Envato API Personal Token” > then you will get update notifications directly on your website dashboard. Please check this chapter of the theme documentation for the detailed instructions.

Instagram Cannot Show since October 24, 2020?

This problem is caused by the Instagram API change that happened on October 24, 2020. Unfortunately, this specific change was not mentioned in the Instagram announcement.

We have updated the required plugin “Berry Extension” and the bridge plugin “LoftOcean Instagram” to fix this issue.

If this issue happens on your website, you need to remove the old “Berry Extension” and “LoftOcean Instagram” from your website, then download and install the updated ones. Please check this chapter of the documentation for the instructions: Instagram Cannot Show since October 24, 2020?.
